Jokowi flies to Bangkok to pay last respects to King Bhumibol
Jokowi expressed his condolences on the passing of King Bhumibol earlier this month.
“On behalf of the government and people of Indonesia I express my deep condolences over the death of King Bhumibol Adulyadej.
The world has lost a leader who was close to the people, a carrier of peace, unity and prosperity for the people of Thailand,” the President said during a press conference at the State Palace on Oct. 13.
He also went to Wisma Indonesia at the Indonesian Embassy before he flew back to Jakarta.
